Pasta is loved by many because it is full of flavors and is fulfilling. I just love Pasta! I prefer having pasta for evening snacks. In this blog, I will be sharing my other recipe of pasta which is easy to make and is full of flavors. This recipe will give you a spicy, tangy and creamy plate full of pasta.
So, now lets start making the yummy pasta. My family loves this recipe because we Indians like spicy food and I have added a hint of spiciness to this recipe.
SPICY, TANGY, CREAMY PASTA

1 cup Penne Pasta
4-5 Boiled Peeled Tomatoes
1/2 Inch Ginger
3-4 Fresh Green Chilies
1 Whole Sliced Onion
1/2 Sliced Capsicum
1 tbsp Finely Chopped Garlic
2-3 tbsp Tomato Ketcup
2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
2 tsp Italian Herbs Mix
Salt to Taste
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Refined Oil
2-3 Cheese Cubes
Directions
- Boil 1 liter of water, add 1 tsp of salt to it. Once the water comes to rolling boil, add the penne pasta and cook it for 10-12 minutes. Once cooked, strain off the excess water and sprinkle some oil over the cooked pasta. Mix well. Oil will prevent the cooked pasta from sticking. Keep it aside.
- Now take the boiled-peeled tomatoes. Put it in a grinder jar, add the green chilies, ginger and grind to get a smooth paste. Keep it aside.
- Heat a pan, add oil and butter to it. Add the chopped garlic, saute for 30 seconds. Now add the sliced onion and capsicum and saute on high heat for 1 minute. Add the tomato paste and cook till the paste becomes thick. Add salt to taste.
- When the tomato paste gets cooked well, add tomato ketchup and mayonnaise, give it a nice mix till well incorporated. Also add the Italian herbs and mix. Now add the boiled penne pasta. Mix and cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with grated cheese and serve hot.

Notes
- If you don’t like spicy pasta, exclude adding green chilies to the tomato paste.
