As the summer starts market is flooded with raw mangoes. There are numerous uses of raw mangoes. Some make pickle, chutney, sweets, drinks etc. In this blog I’ll share the recipe of quick and easy Aam Pana or raw mango masala drink which I’ve been using during every summer. Aam Pana is a very popular summer drink. This refreshing summer beverage is made up of using the boiled pulp of raw mango with sugar and dry spices mix.

Ingredients:
Raw Mangoes 500g
Sugar 1 cup
Water 3 cups
Cumin Powder 3-4 tsp
Red Chili Powder ½ tsp
Black Salt 2 tsp
Dry Mint Powder 2 tsp
Ice Cubes
Directions:
- Take water in a pot, add the raw mangoes to it and boil the mangoes till mangoes get soft.
- When the mangoes get cooked and soft, let it cool completely.
- Once the mangoes are cooled, peel off the mangoes and scrape off the pulp in a bowl. Mash the pulp to make a thick paste.
- In a jug or a bigger bowl empty the mashed mango pulp, add the water, sugar, salt and mix well till sugar dissolves. Also add the spices powder and mix well.
- Put the mango drink into the fridge to cool for some time. Before serving put few ice cubes in the tumbler, pour the mango masala drink and serve chilled.
