FRESH MINT LEMON MASALA SODA

Day by day the temperature is increasing and summer is reaching its peak. Days are getting hotter and hotter and the need to have something cold is increasing too. Cold beverages are to our rescue in this scorching heat. In this blog I will be sharing the recipe of my favorite summer beverage that I make every now and then. Give it a try and enjoy cool beverage during this summer.

Ingredients

  • Lemon Juice: 1/4 Cup

  • Fresh Mint Leaves: 1/4 Cup

  • Sugar: 6 Tbsp

  • Jaljeera: 1Tbsp

  • Water as required

  • Soda Water: 4 Cups

  • Ice Cubes as required

Directions

  • In a grinder jar, take the lemon juice, fresh mint leaves, sugar, jal jeera powder and 1/4 cup of water and grind till you get a fine liquid and till sugar dissolves completely.
  • In a glass tumbler/ mason jar, put few ice cubes and pour some mint-lemon-masala liquid, add 1/4 cup of chilled water and 1/2 cup of chilled soda water. Stir well and serve cold, garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves.

Tip: You can use the same recipe to make simple soda mint lemonade without adding jal jeera.
