CHILLING WATERMELON JUICE

Summer is here and all types of summer fruits are also available in the market. One of the summer fruit is Watermelon, high on water content and good for summers too. Though I munch on watermelon with some chat masala but I also love refreshing watermelon juice. Here is the quick and easy recipe of the watermelon juice.

Ingredients:

Watermelon                                                       1 kg

Mint Leaves                                                        6-10

Sugar (Optional)                                                 1 tbsp

Black Salt                                                            2 tsp

Jaljeera Powder                                                  2 tbsp

Lemon Juice                                                        1 tbsp

Ice Cubes

Chilled Water as Required

Directions:

  1. Cut the watermelon into small cubes and deseed the watermelon cubes.
  2. In a grinder jar put the watermelon cubes, mint leaves and sugar (only if the watermelon is not that sweet). Blend on high speed to grind all the ingredients to get a smooth liquid.
  3. Take out the watermelon juice in a jar, add black salt, jaljeera powder, lemon juice and some chilled water if needed to adjust the consistency of the juice. Mix it well till well incorporated.
  4. In the serving glass put 2-3 ice cubes, pour the watermelon juice and serve. Or put the watermelon juice into the fridge for some time and serve chilled.
