Then to that mix add 1 tsp of kashmiri red chili powder and 1 tsp of black pepper powder, mix till well incorporated. To this mix, add the soya chunks and toss well to coat with the marinate. Keep it into the frigde for 15 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, chop the onion and capsicum into large chunks for the sauce. Finely chop the remaining green chilies. Keep them aside.
  5. Bring the marinated soya chunks out of the fridge. Sprinkle salt to taste and the cornflour to it and toss well to coat the chunks with the flour well. Then deep fry the marinated soya chunks in the oil till the chunks become crisp and brown.
  6. Now lets’s make the sauce. Heat 2 tbsp of oil on medium high heat and saute the onion and capsicum for 2 minutes. Then add the chopped green chilies and remaining 1 tbsp of ginger-garlic-chili paste. Saute well for another 1 minute. Now add all the remaining sauces i.e. soy sauce, red chili sauce, green chili sauce, tomato ketchup and vinegar. Then add 1/4 cup of water or according to your liking. If you want more gravy add more water and cornflour slurry (water and cornflour mix) to get a thick sauce. Then to this sauce add the fried soya chunks, mix well and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.
Remove it from the heat. Garnish with chopped corriander leaves and serve the soya chunks chili hot with chowmein or fried rice or as a starter dish.
